FAMILY FUN
Hi everyone! So in June we had alot of fun. Teresa and her kids came down to visit and we went to the Utah Lake Festival. They had alot to do. The kids played games, had there face painted, rode surf boards and a bunch of other stuff. We ate hot dogs and popcorn. They put on this festival to encourage conservation. But the best thing about it was it was all FREE!!! The kids had fun and our pocket books were not even touched. FATHERS DAY was fun also. We just packed up a picnic and went to the park. The kids had fun playing on the playground and Burdette had fun hitting golf balls. The kids also like to try there hand at golf. They are getting pretty good. We Love our Burdette so much. He is a great dad and a wonderful husband. We are so lucky to have him in our lives.

KIDS SAY THE DARNDEST THINGS
June 1, 2009
Ok so today is my birthday, the girls had a piano recital, so after the piano recital my family took me out to eat. But that is not the story. We were sitting around the table talking about our favorite birthdays. The kids were all saying there memories and it was Mekenna's turn. She said her favorite birthday was the birthday that she got lucky. Burdette and I both looked at each other and started laughing. For those of you that don't know "LUCKY" is her late hamster. It took us a couple of seconds to understand that is what she meant. It was so funny. All the kids thought we were going crazy they had no clue what we were laughing about. I love the innocence of children.kids say the darndest things. Thank goodness we don't have to worry about that with our kids yet.
